sexy commercial fail
My mum however never fails
So my mum was watching TV the other day, and I was keeping her company, reading, in the living room.
After a few minutes it's time for a commercial break, now I'm not much for commercials on TV, but when watching them with my mum, or anyone else from my family for that matter, it's always funnier than it's supposed to be.
So on comes an ice cream commercial. And how easy is it to sell ice cream on TV these days? So to make it more attractive and sexy they have a woman dressed in a red dress present it. At first, the woman stares at it, almost as if she is wating for an invitation, then she strokes her finger around the edges and puts her finger into her mouth (insert pornography here)
and in the next shot she is enjoying the same ice cream on the sofa, only this time with a spoon.
And I get it, oh you know I get it ;)
And so my, always awesome and lovely, mum goes "ah, why did'nt she just get a spoon from the beginning!?!?" and she was right, as always, she was so right, and so hilarious. Cos we never think about it, I mean I understood the sexy (and impossible) hidden message in the commercial "get the ice cream and get a girl like this" or if you are a woman "this ice cream will make you hella sexy, speacially if you eat it with your fingers" but my mum just STUPID.
